A. Jeez, that IS the truth. If you want us to put it in another way, Hott.Com.My is a very unique internet based e-commerce and infotainment platform that only sells one item a day, at a fabulous deal. Well, it’s not entirely true we only sell 1 product a day because sometimes, when we are in the mood, like when we walk past a Sizzzzzlllling Hottie that make our heads turn before we turn up at work, we will be a little more generous by listing more than 1 product for sale in a day but we are not going to tell you when. You just have to visit our site everyday to check. Oooh...the suspense is killing me. We know.
 
Q. I’m getting hot with excitement already. But why do you spell 'Hot' as 'Hott' with an extra 't'? ...and I thought my spelling was bad.
A. Don’t worry. Neither one of us is bad with spelling. We deliberately added an extra 't' to the word 'Hot' to signify products sold on our website is 'Hotter Than Hot!', like now, when you are getting hotter and hotter from all the excitement. In the same way, we want each product Hottie on sale through our website to demand that extra excitement, attention, and chosen as the conversation piece, just like you, a real certified Hottie.

Q. What type of product Hotties do you normally list up for sale?
A.
It could be anything and everything! One day we could be selling cool and chic stuff classed under some general product categories like Beauty, Electronics, Home Appliances, Toys, and so on, and the very next, if we discover some interesting products that is too unique to categorize, like an unheard brand such as Barefoot Doctor that claims is for 'Boosting Energy' which will invigorate that much needed kick whatever time of the day, we will very well add them to our site – see, we weren't leaving those out! We are focused obsessively on keeping all segments of our Hotties community happy, regardless of gender and age, by unleashing sparkling product Hotties that will appeal to all and make it worth your $$.

Q. This is ABSOLUTELY brilliant. Give me some tips how it works so that I will NOT MISS OUT landing a different Hottie each day from your site.
A. As you wish. Each product Hottie listed for the day will only be available and on sale for 24 hours and ‘expires’ at midnight 12:00AM (GMT +8) and a different product Hottie will be released on the runway the next day for you to hit on. If a product Hottie is so hott that it is SOLD OUT prematurely (before the 24 hours is up), users will not be able to purchase it anymore and will have to wait for a different product Hottie to appear the next day.
 
Any product Hottie to be listed is never announced beforehand. We do not reveal how many units will remain available in a given sale, but the 'I Want This Hottie!' buy button will animate rapidly when it breaches the critical stock level and the 'Sold Out!' buy button will appear if the listed product Hottie is completely sold out.
 
Q. What if I missed out on yesterday’s Hottie or the fact that I hesitated so much until today’s listed Hottie is completely sold out? Can I still get one?
A. Here is a fact of life. When you meet a Hottie with desirable qualities at a social function, you’d ALWAYS see an interesting crowd surrounding that Hottie. If you do not move fast enough, your chances of getting to know that Hottie will be practically ZERO because you have taken a backseat from the crowd to land that Hottie.
 
The same principle applies here. You will have to act fast to land yourself a product Hottie. As the saying goes, a Hottie doesn’t stay available for long. When it’s gone, it’s GONE!

Q. I wasn’t able to visit your site for the past week because my naughty pussycat chewed off my internet cable. It broke my heart that I missed out on the past week’s Hotties and I’m only able to view 5 of them under Hotties You Missed Out! section, and even then, the selling price is missing. Don’t you keep an archive of all past Hotties and their prices for me to admire from afar...?
A. We feel you. Truth to the matter, Hotties will not make a comeback once they are featured and long gone from our site. So, why further aggravate your hurt to know so much about past Hotties you missed out? Knowing less about their past is better for you to recover from your broken heart, and move on...(We sound like Dear Thelma..., don’t we?)

At least you get to see how the past 5 Hotties look like and read the given comments, sort of like giving you a whiff of that lingering scent after the Hottie is long gone. Q. How long does shipping usually take?
A. Mirror, mirror on the wa...(mirror cracks). Oops, can’t help you now. We cannot really tell you exactly when you will receive your package. You will receive it early if someone is available to receive the package or you may face delay because no one is available at the shipping address when your package arrives, in which the courier personnel will attempt to contact you by phone or a note to make the next necessary delivery arrangement. What we can safely say is under normal circumstances, your package will be processed and sent out within 2 – 3 working days or earlier from the day you place your order.
 
Q. What shipping method is used?
A. We always ship using premium couriers (with tracking number) that provide the best delivery network and service throughout the country. Regardless of courier used for delivery, you will get a tracking number once your order ships.
 
Q. How would I know if my order is shipped out? How do I track the delivery?
A. You can check your order status by logging in and clicking the 'My Account' tab at the top of the page. Click on the Order History button at the top left of the page. It will then list all your current and previous orders. If we haven’t sent out your package, the Order Status will show as Processing and the Tracking Number will show as Not Available Yet. Once we have shipped out your package, you will see the Order Status as Shipped and your parcel tracking number will be shown. To view further details on tracking and shipping information, click on the 'Order ID' for that order.
 
Please do not email us the very next day asking when your item will ship. Relax. Prepare a bubble bath, light some candles, take a deep breathe and soak in. Ask someone to give you a good rubdown. The sun will rise and your Hottie will arrive.
 
Q. How do you calculate shipping?
A. We print our shipping prices right on the front page, for West and East Malaysia. The shipping rates shown are for quantity of (1) unit. Shipping price is calculated based on weight range. This means the shipping price will change depending on the weight range the total weight of your order falls into. On most occasions, the advantage of using weight range calculation for shipping is, you will only be charged for the shipping cost for (1) unit even if your intention is to purchase 2 or more units of the same item, unless the Hottie we ship is very heavy, like a baby elephant...and you intend to buy multiples of ‘em...to have fun in your 2 feet deep inflatable baby pool.
 
[Tip : To save on shipping cost, we suggest you purchase more than 1 unit for the same item so you’ll save a slight amount by purchasing 2 or more units. Ask your buddies if they are interested to purchase the same thing as you, so you can split the shipping cost with them]
 
Q. Do you offer free shipping?
A. Free shipping, you say? Sure! We do occasionally provide free or discounted shipping. That will happen when we strike 1st prize on our Magnum 4D ticket, and we will give free shipping to the entire nation. If we strike consolation prize, then we can only afford to give free shipping to buyers either for West or East Malaysia, or with some shipping discounts. We will indicate that on our product front page if our listed Hottie includes any free or discounted shipping rates if that windfall happens. So keep your eyes out for that magical words FREE SHIPPING on the product front page.
 
Q. I’d rather hunt high and low for the same product from stores that are nearer to me so I can save on the shipping cost.
A. Hmm..Let’s see. Petrol price + hourly parking fee + wear & tear + your precious weekend time + stress + no guarantees that you can find the same Hottie as ours. Weigh that against the shipping cost. Still not persuaded? We think there is a term for you. Oh yes, Penny Wise, Pound Foolish. If that's how you want to live your life, sure. Fine. There are those who’d say that your type will acquire the earth with all the pennies saved, if at all. Until then, though, the rest of us would already have in possession all the prized Hotties as our plaything. Now, where is my whip....?
 
Q. What if I live nearby, like within walking distance, can I trot by your office to make a purchase?
A. No. Regardless whether you live in Bukit Kayu Hitam or just right next door to our office, we still ship your product Hottie via courier service. Sorry, no exceptions.
 
Q. Do you ship internationally, outside of Malaysia?
A. No, we do not ship outside of Malaysia at this time.
 
Q. Does each Hottie come with a warranty?
A. Yes. All product Hotties come with warranty either from the manufacturer directly or from Hott. We will indicate that on the front page for each product Hottie listing. If the product doesn't work, first find out what you're doing wrong. Google your problem, or come back to the product Hottie discussion thread in our forum and ask the community if they know. Try to call the manufacturer and ask if they know. If you have completely exhausted all avenues and still cannot be solved, read the next FAQ entry.

Q. What if the product I received is Dead On Arrival (D.O.A) or encountering product problems STILL under warranty? What should I do to get it resolved?
A. If you receive the product and it doesn't work (D.O.A), you will need to request for Return Merchandize Authorization (RMA) number within 48 hours of receiving the product. We will respond with a return authorization number for you. Your D.O.A product will have to reach us within 7 days after obtaining the return authorization number from us. For D.O.A products, we will either give you a replacement or a purchase refund if there aren't any replacement available from our stock. Please initiate the return process to obtain the RMA number from us by using the RMA messaging system by clicking the Order History button from 'My Account' page.

If you encounter product problems and the product warranty is provided by the manufacturer directly, contact the manufacturer of the product you bought. You will likely get a replacement of a new model or a better product from them if the defective product cannot be repaired. Remember to provide them with the invoice and warranty card.

If the product warranty is provided by Hott, please initiate the return process to obtain the RMA number from us by using the RMA messaging system by clicking the Order History button from 'My Account' page. Please describe in details the problems you encounter with the product. We will respond with return authorization number for you. We will try to repair it. If it cannot be repaired, and if there aren’t any replacement available from our stock, we will give you a refund.

In all cases, refunds or product replacement will not be issued if product is sent back to us without an authorized RMA number. For more information, please see our complete Terms and Conditions of sale.

Q. What if I don’t like the Hottie that I bought?
A. Short of actual fondling, you’ve had your chance to ogle, discuss, praise, talk thrash, praise again, and sizing up our product Hottie before laying your $$ to decide if you want ‘em. An unlikely scenario as that will be (our product Hotties are all things that WE want ourselves), should the situation arise, we really have only one prepared public statement: “Not Our Problem”. If the Hottie you purchased does not suit you, just try selling it to your buddies or next door neighbour. They may like your Hottie so much that they are willing to pay double for it. You’ll make a profit and save everyone a hassle.
 
Q. What if I needed to talk to a live person there regarding my product Hottie or other issues, how to reach you?
A. Instead of calling us directly to deal with any of your questions (which could set both parties into an unproductive wild goose chase when you get answers from the wrong person), we already have in place on our site a well organized email communication structure for you to get reliable answers to your questions from the proper channel within our organization. f you have a burning question to ask about your product Hottie, the Hottie’s HangOut! forum board is always a good place to start. We are almost always there, on hand to answer questions you may have as will the other helpful Hotties from the community, or you could contact the manufacturer directly if more complex details are required. If you have other serious issues, click this Write Us link and find the email address that best suits the kind of question you have. A. Buddy, if you DO find this sanctuary haven with drinks for RM1.00 a pop with pole dancers in action, be the FIRST to let me know. I’ll buy you rounds all night long! Short of that, yes, our Hottie’s Hangout! is a 24/7 forum hangout designed for our helpful and supportive community base of Hotties that is always sticking around and ever willing to share their vast knowledge and opinions, discussions, and taa daaa...sweet-for-nothing chats and gossips. There are also loads of exciting contests with enticing sponsored prizes to be won, at least once a week. We want to make our forum to be the best lifestyle community in action and insanely addictive for you. Q. I’m a law abiding Hottie. Any forum rules that I should be aware of? Would I be rewarded for good behaviour?
A. We like you already. We do not want to turn our community into a bunch of guns-trotting and mud-slinging cowboys and girls from the Wild Wild West, so some simple guidelines are needed to keep some order, and most importantly, for ALL Hotties to enjoy a safe, friendly, and pleasant stay at our forum. As a reward for good behaviour, you’d have EARNED the respect and adulation of the entire community, sort of like a leader or celebrity, and indirectly, gifting you with the confidence and charisma that you will carry on in real life. Now, that is PRICELESS!
 
So, our GENERAL RULE of thumb is - Knowing what to say, when to say it, and knowing when to keep things unsaid.

  • Commenting On Product Hotties (Strictly Enforced)
    • If you want to comment and compare prices such as lower price found, fine. All comparisons have to originate from retailers within Malaysia. You will need to prove it by posting it (scanned copy of newspaper/magazine advertisements or price link from local websites) to the forum for the community’s benefit. Heck, if it’s so cheap, we might even want some for ourselves.
    • DO NOT post any (local or foreign) auction and bidding site links as the selling price is not final and comes with unclear service policies.
    • DO NOT post any price links to commercial websites with addresses outside of Malaysia for price comparison as factors such as shipping costs, taxes, and currency rates are not taken into account yet to get the product to your doorstep.
    • DO NOT post any (local or foreign) price links to bulk orders as the bulk sale may not materialize when the number of buyers is insufficient to meet the bulk quantity.
    • DO NOT make feature comparisons with different brands or models, whether good or bad. Even identical twins are not made to be the same.
    • DO NOT post your personal price opinions on our product Hottie like '...too pricey for me' or to that effect. Price is relative to an individual’s financial capabilities. Satu Ringgit may mean THE WORLD to you, but not to everyone. So, keep that to yourself.
    • You can praise or talk thrash about our product Hottie features. Your feedback (whether positive or negatively biased) can be very useful, but present it constructively in a factual manner based on actual experience or truthful facts so the community can actually benefit from it.
  • Do not post personal information such as addresses, emails, phone numbers, ..etc.
  • Do not post advertisements of any kind to which you are related or stand to profit from the referral.
  • Please use English or Manglish (Malaysian English) as the language base for your posts. We are Malaysians, so no problem for you to understand lah.
  • Be respectful of other Hotties at all times. Be courteous when disagreeing with others. It is possible to disagree without being insulting, that means no abusive language in any dialect.
  • Smut and porno materials are strictly a NO-NO on our site, and we’ll enforce it. Please think PG-13.
  • Finally, Administrators and Moderators are ALWAYS right with their decisions.

Q. What goes on in the Blog section?
A. Our Blog usually carries latest news and updates about our business operations for all Hotties to keep abreast with. Sometimes, we will post our opinions, interesting stories or news that is good to know for the entire community.

Q. I've heard that all SPECIAL sites have RSS feed. I'm also SPECIAL, so to be sama gang, I want your RSS feed because to me, RSS means Really Something Special! Joe, do you have one on your site kah?
A. Of course we have RSS feed on our site for you to subscribe. Our RSS feed subscription link is located on our forum.  In order to be able to read our RSS feed, you will need to firstly install a RSS feed reader, sort of like a 'player' to display our RSS feed content on your browser. These RSS readers are mainly free to try and use. Just Google for Free RSS Readers. Try them and if you don't like one, simply move on to another one.

Once you have installed your RSS Reader, proceed to subscribe to our RSS feed by either clicking on the large RSS icon that says 'RSS Feed' (located at the bottom of the Hottie’s Hangout! forum page) or on the small RSS icon located on the Address Toolbar. Once subscribed, your RSS Reader will automatically check for product and news feed updates on our site and then displays them on your browser as they arrive so you will not miss out on our daily Hottie whenever you are in front of your PC.

RSS actually stands for Really Simple Syndication, and indeed, it is also Really Something Special, like YOU!

Q. I can't seem to receive any of your emails or I keep getting them in my junk/spam folder. How do I ensure that I receive your emails?
A. Sometimes, ISPs or web based operators (Yahoo!, Hotmail, MSN ..etc) tend to be overly smart by treating our emails as SPAM, you know, like the actual canned food product, and they would either put them in your junk/spam mail folder or worse, they would block it from ever reaching you because they think this food product is bad for your health. So, if you have problems receiving any of our emails at all, please follow some simple steps (click here) for different email programs to make sure you add our domain name hott.com.my as a safe sender, so that our emails get through...unmolested.  

Q. My PC is running on Windows and I can't seem to get past some of the pages on your site. It shows the infamous error 'Error 404. Page Not Found'. It was perfectly normal a minute ago – what happened?
A. It means you have spent too much time on the net. Just Kidding! Don’t panic. We encounter them too - Yesterday it worked. Today it is not working. Windows is like that. Try the remedy below. In no time, our Hott website should be back online for you. You don't have to do all of the following, but doing it in the order specified is recommended.
 
1. Flush the DNS cache!

click Start > click Run > type cmd > type ipconfig /flushdns (there is a space after the word ipconfig)
It should flush the DNS cache. Try going to our site now, if it works then you're done. If it's still not working, continue with the following...
 
2. Clear your browser’s cookies and temporary internet files.

For Windows Internet Explorer browser (ver. 7x)
Exit from our site and close all other open tabs. Leave the single page blank or visit google.com
On the browser, click Tools > click Internet Options > Under Browsing history, click Delete > click Delete All..

For Mozilla Firefox browser (ver. 2x, 3x)
Exit from our site and close all other open tabs. Leave the single page blank or visit google.com
On the browser, click Tools > click Clear Private Data... > tick all the checkboxes > click Clear Private Data Now

Try going to our site now, if it works then you're done. If it's still not working, throw your computer away and get a new one...Again, Just Kidding! If problem persists, please email us at coders@hott.com.my. Please quote your operating system (Windows 95, Windows XP, Mac OSX 10.4 etc.) and your web browser (Internet Explorer 8, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari etc.). We will try to troubleshoot it for you.
